That one I went a week without coffee...

As stated in my first ever blog post, I have been drinking coffee for a very long time. Many argue that I am "addicted" while I make the argument that "if I was told that I couldn't ever drink coffee again I would be fine." Well it was time to put my "money" where my mouth was and face this reality.
I was at church with my friends when they said to me "I bet you can't go a week without coffee." Me being me, I shouted "bring it." If I won I was granted bragging rights, if they won I had to admit that I was indeed addicted. Looking back this is kind of stupid, I picked the busiest week of my semester to do this just to prove I have "self-control. Something I did learn is I was substituting meals with coffee due to its convenience, so I was able to properly eat that week, at least that was beneficial. I called my mom to tell her about this bet and she was like "just drink coffee." This made me laugh because my mom is not a coffee drinker and one of the first to tell me that I waste my money on coffee (sorry mom lol).
So I did it. It was a hard week, but not that bad. My friend argues that I was a hot mess, but I just think he's being over dramatic. Anyways, this is how it went:
Will I ever do it again? Probably not, but hey at least I got bragging rights.
