Quarantine but still caffeinated

Just because we are social distancing and staying in our house, doesn't mean I can't be my own barista. Here is my quick up date to how I have been drinking coffee during the pandemic.

1. I still support my local shops. You know I have a face mask to go to Leaf & Bean. These are hard times and I will do anything to support them. I also have purchased their beans to make a home.

2. Don't feel like leaving the car? I have been thru the Starbucks drive thru, however I don't recommend. For a few reasons:

- You should support local shops

- I've seen people get in fights in the line

I am guilty of craving my Grande Nitro Cold Brew with Salted Honey Foam, but I have the foam made with almond milk.

3. I have been french pressing my coffee and it has been giving me a sense of accomplishment, like "yeah I did something today!" This has allowed me to perfect my french pressing skills and I am getting quite good if I do say so myself.

4. I buy bottled cold brew when I am lazy and don't want to make it.

I wish I could go and explore coffee shops, but our health comes first. Hope everyone is safe and healthy and don't worry, we will adventure one day, maybe.

I would do anything to sit in a coffee shop and drink a latte with friends again. Photo curtesy of Trevor Fuino Photography.
